About The Position

The Plant Operator/ Local CDL Driver performs plant housekeeping, equipment operation, general preventive maintenance, and local daytime deliveries of product loads to customers as needed. The role operates slurry plant equipment and safely operates and maintains trucks and mobile equipment. Responsibilities also include coordinating inbound lime deliveries, scheduling customer deliveries, maintaining the mixer and pump, inspecting transfer piping for leaks, and delivering slurry loads to customers. The position is generally home nightly, although occasional overnight trips may be necessary depending on customer needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
CDL with Tanker endorsement.
Clear motor vehicle report.
Positive attitude, good communication skills, and demonstrated ability to work with the public.
Mechanical aptitude.
Teamwork, maturity, and a strong work ethic.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet customer demands.
