About The Position

Timberline Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is hiring a safety-conscious CDL Driver in Vail, Colorado. The driver operates a pumper truck to service portable toilets in neighborhoods, construction sites, and special-event locations, while providing customer service. The work involves servicing refuse year-round in varied weather and outdoor conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and rainy environments. It is physically demanding and includes frequent vehicle entry and exit, scrubbing toilet units, operating pumping equipment, and lifting, pushing, and pulling. The role may involve moderate noise, fumes, vibration, moving mechanical parts, and changing hazards at construction sites, parking lots, and crowded locations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays, starting around 5:30 a.m.; the position typically works approximately 45–50 hours per week, with overtime possibilities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age and have a satisfactory driving record.
Have a valid Colorado Driver’s License.
Have a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
Be comfortable with physical labor.
Be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
Be available Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays, starting around 5:30 a.m.
Be prepared to work approximately 45–50 hours per week, with overtime possibilities.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the pumper truck in neighborhoods, at work sites, and at special events.
Read route sheets and service each customer listed or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Scrub portable toilet units and perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, and pulling.
Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift or load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
Interact courteously with customers.
Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
