About The Position

PODS is seeking a local CDL Driver to join our team. This role involves driving and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. The compensation package includes a competitive hourly wage, incentives, and various benefits. Individual pay is determined by qualifications, experience, skillset, and geography.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL Class B License Required without air brake restriction
• Must maintain a current/valid driver license
• Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards
• Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
• Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum of a 1 year certification (DOT requirement)
• Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience

Nice To Haves

• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a commercial vehicle.
• Ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Attend a required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
