About The Position

Asgard Resources is hiring a Plant Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment at its frac sand processing facility in Bainville, Montana. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position involving conveyors, pumps, motors, hydraulics, screens, and other frac sand processing equipment. The mechanic will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform repairs, and help keep plant operations running safely and efficiently.

The role is full-time, with steady overtime typically available for 5–6 days per week and 12-hour shifts. Pay is $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience. Training is provided for the right candidate. Local candidates within commuting distance of Bainville or Williston are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Comfort working outdoors and around industrial equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous mechanic or maintenance experience.
• Industrial, mining, oilfield, agricultural, heavy equipment, or construction experience.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• MSHA experience.
• Own tools and/or work truck; compensation may be provided accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and related systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and help minimize downtime.
• Replace worn or damaged parts and make equipment adjustments.
• Assist with equipment installation and setup.
• Perform light welding and fabrication as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks.
• Work safely around industrial equipment and follow MSHA safety procedures.
• Work with operations and management teams to support production.
