About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Plant Manager to lead and oversee all operational aspects of the manufacturing facility. This executive role is responsible for the entire plant's performance, safety, quality, and personnel, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production that meets all company goals and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in plant management, operations management, or a director-level role in a manufacturing facility.
  • Demonstrated success managing P&L responsibility and large capital/operating budgets.
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma principles (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills to lead a diverse team.
  • Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all plant operations (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Shipping, Office Administration) to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement the annual operating budget, manage plant financial performance (P&L), and control costs across all departments.
  • Establish and strictly enforce all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the plant leadership team, including the Production Manager and HR/Office Manager, fostering a culture of accountability and development.
  • Drive and sustain a culture of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing, leading large-scale projects to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to set strategic goals and long-range planning for capital expenditure, capacity growth, and operational technology.
  • Ensure product quality meets all customer specifications and company standards, working closely with the Quality Control team.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the plant and corporate leadership, reporting on performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
