About The Position

The role of a Plant Manager at Forvia is to manage a production plant. The permanent target is to deliver its budget commitment measured through gross margin and inventory levels. This involves setting targets for the Plant, securing foundations such as employee safety, adequate customer satisfaction (quality and on-time deliveries), and an empowered workforce. The Plant Manager is responsible for managing the P&L to drive appropriate actions with the plant management team, adapting Plant resources and costs to volume variation and strategic plan perspectives. They also secure new program launch preparation, contribute to business plan convergence, deploy the Faurecia Excellence System (FES), integrate Digital transformation within the Plant, and develop talents to prepare future Managers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from engineering school
  • Proven and successful experience in production management
  • Proven and successful experience in lean manufacturing /production system / Toyota production system
  • Proven experience in team management with leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to build, manage and deliver a P&L budget
  • Knowledge in Finance
  • Results oriented
  • Recognized leadership and coaching skills (motivating others)
  • Fluent (written and spoken) English + Local language

  • Master’s degree from engineering school

Responsibilities

  • Set targets for their Plant
  • Secure foundations in their perimeter: safety of employees; adequate customer satisfaction: quality and on-time deliveries; empowered employees and work force
  • Manage P&L to drive the appropriate actions with the plant management team

  • Deploy FES (Faurecia Excellence System) and integrate the Digital transformation
  • Develop talent and prepare future managers
