About The Position

Worldwide Foam is seeking a full-time Plant Manager to lead our facility in Elkhart, IN. This role involves building strong teams, improving processes, driving productivity, and creating a culture centered on safety and accountability. The Plant Manager will guide production, shipping, maintenance, and inventory activities, coach and develop employees, oversee hiring and onboarding, manage attendance and payroll approvals, and act as a liaison between plant employees and corporate leadership. Responsibilities also include analyzing operational data, identifying opportunities for waste reduction and productivity improvement, coordinating facility and equipment upkeep, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

4-year degree or 3+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing leadership role
Strong organizational, planning, and team-building skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Good computer skills, including ERP systems, SharePoint, Outlook, and related software
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to write reports and analyze operational data
Positive attitude and resilience
Ability to work in warehouse and office environments year-round
Strong math skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team lift required for heavier loads)
