This role is responsible for coordinating and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems. The position involves scheduling and coordinating repair, modification, and preventive maintenance operations, as well as assisting in the development and review of standard operating procedures. The individual will participate in HAZOPs and FMEAs, serve as a location liaison with the corporate process safety group, and oversee or perform new equipment installations. This role requires the use of hand and portable power tools and adherence to safe working practices. Additionally, the position may involve advising management on equipment life, usage, and research for new equipment purchases, ensuring operations technicians understand and follow safe working practices, and coordinating material and equipment movement. Participation in Six Sigma Projects and other defined duties are also part of the role.
