About The Position

We are seeking to hire a Maintenance worker for the Weiser, Idaho plant. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems. The successful candidate will visually inspect and test machinery, listen for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions, and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines. Responsibilities also include dismantling defective machines and equipment, installing new or repaired parts, cleaning and lubricating machinery parts, scheduling and coordinating maintenance to avoid hindering production timelines, installing and repairing electrical apparatus, laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairing and maintaining the physical structure of the establishment. The role may also require performing non-maintenance duties on a temporary basis.

Requirements

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
  • Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Schedules maintenance in a manner that will not hinder the production team from meeting their scheduled timelines.
  • Coordinates repairs in a timely manner to assist the production team in meeting their scheduled timelines.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
  • May be required to perform non-maintenance duties on a temporary basis.
