About The Position

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Combination of education and relevant work experience may be required.
  • Valid driver’s license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using your own auto.
  • Must show proof of automobile insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in plant operations in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements is helpful.
  • May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in maintaining a safe, functional, clean and attractive physical environment for patient, guests, and employees.
  • Performs, with minimal supervision, a variety of maintenance tasks under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager.
  • Performs plan operations assessments, equipment testing, and documents as required.
  • Performs safety and preventative maintenance inspections and documents as required.
  • Effectively performs routine and incident specific maintenance tasks.
  • Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and Safety/Risk Management Plans, and policies and procedures.
  • Assists in assuring a safe and risk preventive environment.
  • Comply with MSDS regulations and ensured documentation is current within the guidelines required by law.
