About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role leads and coordinates daily maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable plant operations. The position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing mechanical systems and equipment, supporting preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime, and partnering with operations teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive equipment reliability. The lead will also guide and support maintenance personnel through coaching, task planning, and technical assistance.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance activities safely and effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the capability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Skilled in planning, organizing, and prioritizing maintenance tasks.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and equipment reliability practices.
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
