Darling Ingredients is looking to hire a Plant laborer for our plant in Berlin, WI. This is an entry-level manufacturing job with a stable worldwide company. The Plant laborer position earns a competitive entry-level wage of $24.36/hour. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Authorized to work in the US

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience is preferred
Mechanical abilities a big plus
Knowledge about manufacturing plant processes and equipment are preferred
Ability to understand a complex process and how everything works together
Attentive to safety
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Efficient and detail-oriented
Works well with others in a team environment

Responsibilities

Start up and shut down the production line
Maximize efficiency while the production line is running
Monitor control panels and various gauges on key equipment
Sample and test for quality
Make process adjustments based on quality test results
Verify that equipment is properly locked out for repairs
Perform preventative maintenance duties such as lubricating machinery
Help the team clean out air handling or other processing equipment as part of the weekly cleaning schedule
