The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace. HR provides service offerings that align solutions to business challenges by ensuring the programs are Effective, Efficient, Global, Scaleable, and Repeatable. Corning’s Values are operationalized by the HR Function through the facilitation of Talent Management offerings, as well as programs and processes that aid in making Corning’s Values visible. As the plant and commercial HR Manager, you cultivate and maintain a positive work environment and operate as “One Corning” in support of Corning’s Values while providing optimal level of HR service and delivery in support of business goals and objectives. You will partner closely with plant, division, and corporate leadership on key initiatives while ensuring compliance to legal and regulatory guidelines. You will be responsible for providing strategic and operational HR support to the manufacturing plant and commercial organization within our Corning Pharmaceutical Glass (CPG) business. This role oversees all aspects of human resources for both hourly/plant employees and plant and commercial staffs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance, best practices, and a positive employee experience.
