About The Position

The Plant Helper supports operations at an underground limestone mine in the Aggregates line of business. The role involves safe and efficient material handling, equipment cleanup, maintenance support, basic operational tasks, and general labor to help ensure continuous, reliable plant operations. The employee monitors production areas, reports issues promptly, follows safety procedures, and contributes to safe, effective teamwork.

Requirements

• Ability to work safely around machinery and moving equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and working in varied conditions.
• Willingness to learn plant processes and operate tools and equipment as trained.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks.
• Commitment to teamwork and maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Successful completion of a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require ongoing FMCSA-regulated drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Support plant operations through safe and efficient material handling.
• Assist with equipment cleanup, maintenance, and basic operational tasks.
• Monitor production areas and promptly report issues.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a culture of safe work practices.
• Perform general labor duties to ensure continuous, reliable plant operations.
