About The Position

The Plant Health Care Specialist monitors, diagnoses, and treats tree and shrub health issues within an assigned territory. The role involves inspecting plants for pests, diseases, and other concerns; selecting and applying appropriate treatments; preparing diagnostic reports; educating clients about their landscapes; and operating spray and application equipment safely. The specialist works independently to support customer satisfaction and protect and enhance the natural environment.

This position suits someone who enjoys problem-solving and outdoor work and is eager to learn and grow in plant health care. Requirements

• Ability to work independently with responsibility and care.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills for engaging effectively with clients.
• Willingness to learn plant and tree identification and safe equipment use.
• Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses.
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate service-line vehicles.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or a related field; related experience is also noted as preferred.
