About The Position

As a Plant Health Care Specialist, you will monitor, diagnose, and treat tree and shrub health issues within a specific territory. Typical work includes inspecting plants for pests, diseases, and other concerns; selecting and applying appropriate treatments; preparing written diagnostic reports; educating clients about their landscapes; and safely operating spray and application equipment. You will work independently to support customer satisfaction. This role is suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving outdoors and is committed to protecting and enhancing the natural environment.

Requirements

Ability to work independently with responsibility and care.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills for effective client engagement.
Willingness to learn plant and tree identification and safe equipment use.
Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses.
Authorization to lawfully work in the United States.
Valid driver's license and ability to operate service-line vehicles.

Nice To Haves

A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or a related field; related experience is also noted.
