About The Position

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a Plant Engineer I to help maintain a safe working environment at its healthcare facilities. The role maintains accurate logs on hospital equipment and maintains and repairs equipment and systems, including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Driving may be required for company business.

Saint Clare's Health is part of Prime Healthcare and serves communities in Morris, Warren, and Sussex counties through hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

Requirements

• Be able to troubleshoot and read schematics and/or blueprints.
• Hold a valid current state driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 0–1 years of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate logs on all hospital equipment.
• Provide for a safe working environment.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas equipment and systems.
• Drive as needed for company business.
