About The Position

The Painter/Load is responsible for preparing and painting structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required. The role supports the fabrication shop and involves working with materials and equipment in a fast-paced environment. First- and second-shift schedules are available.

Requirements

• Experience with overhead cranes.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating and functioning effectively with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.
• Work in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.
• Be flexible to work any schedule, including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to tolerate hot and cold working environments.
• Ability to stand on feet for up to 10 hours.
• Organization and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint structural steel.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Perform rigging work to move materials.
• Load and unload steel from trucks.
• Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop.
