About The Position

Dormitory cleaning: All common areas in the dorm are routinely cleaned during the academic school year. These areas include bathrooms, lounges, kitchens, stairs, etc. More in depth cleaning is done during summer breaks including student bedrooms, more floor work and accommodating summer program guests. Some outside work is done at door entrances, loggia glass and shoveling snow. Also cleaning is done in educational and administrative buildings to include, bathrooms, break rooms. offices, stairs, etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Less than six months work experience
• Demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong ability to organize time effectively
• Strong communication skills, especially with verbal and written instructions
• Ability to build relationships with others, work with a direct team and broader campus team
• Champions diversity, equity, and inclusion

Responsibilities

• Routinely clean all common areas in dorms, including bathrooms, lounges, kitchens, and stairs during the academic school year.
• Perform in-depth cleaning during summer breaks, including student bedrooms and floor work.
• Accommodate summer program guests with cleaning needs.
• Perform outside work at door entrances and loggia glass.
• Shovel snow.
• Clean educational and administrative buildings, including bathrooms, break rooms, offices, and stairs.
