The Plant Controller is responsible for the monthly and annual close of financial records, assisting with the annual financial audit, and analyzing the effect of changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services on costs. This role involves analyzing actual manufacturing costs against standard costs, developing processes to monitor and control site spending, and monitoring forecasts against the annual operating plan (AOP) with corrective actions. The Plant Controller also performs capital expenditure justification analysis, inventory analysis (obsolete, slow-moving, cycle counting), margin analysis, and drives improvements in Production Order Variances (POV). Additionally, this position serves as a focal point for Overhead Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Management Business Reviews (MBRs), conducts make-versus-buy analysis, partners with plant management on cost reduction initiatives, and provides requested information to senior management. The role supports the company's mission, values, and culture, adheres to quality and safety standards, and assists with other projects as assigned. This position supervises the Plant Financial Analyst.
