About The Position
The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial activities within a pressure casting manufacturing facility. This role partners closely with plant leadership to provide financial insight, drive cost efficiencies, and support operational decision-making. The Plant Controller will lead budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory control, and reporting processes, with a strong focus on manufacturing cost drivers such as scrap, yield, labor efficiency, and material usage.
Requirements
- Expertise in cost accounting and general ledger.
- Experience with reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in inventory management and forecasting.
- Ability to create pivot tables and Vlookups in Excel.
- Familiarity with large-scale ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, or Infor.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 5+ years of cost/plant accounting experience.
- 5+ years of experience reconciling accounts.
- 5+ years of variance analysis experience within a plant (labor, overhead, absorption).
- 5+ years of experience tracking inventory.
