About The Position

ChemTreat, a Veralto company, is seeking a Plant Bulk Coordinator for its facility in Eldridge, IA. This role is crucial for managing the preparation of paperwork for bulk loads, from assigning trailer compartments to completing driver paperwork for customer offloading. The Plant Bulk Coordinator also serves as a backup to the receiving clerk, handling incoming raw materials and associated administrative tasks. Additionally, this position involves training incoming drivers on bulk trailer preparation and forklift operation for new hires. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with applicable paperwork.
  • Ability to wear all necessary PPE equipment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 55 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Assign trailer compartments for bulk loads within maximum axle weight limits.
  • Prepare all bulk load paperwork for production, bulk loader, QC, and driver, including Certificate of Analysis requests, NSF stamp, and customer-specific requests.
  • Distribute prepared paperwork to relevant departments.
  • Prepare barcodes and seals for each compartment and transfer this information to the BOLs.
  • Print BOLs, fact sheets, CofA's, and any other customer-requested documents to complete driver packets.
  • Close sales orders and send copies of each BOL to accounts receiving.
  • Serve as backup for the bulk loader.
  • Serve as backup to the receiving/shipping associate for receiving and offloading bulk and LTL raw materials, including all required paper and computer entries.
  • Verify purchase orders with product lot numbers and prepare paperwork for QC.
  • Track wastewater on hand and schedule vendor pickups as needed.
  • Train yard drivers on completing pre-inspections, tagging, and placarding bulk trailers before production loading.
  • Maintain housekeeping and 5S in assigned areas.
  • Pack containers.
  • Perform general forklift duties.
  • Label drums and containers.
  • Reload production printer labels and barcode paper.
  • Use Warehouse Management System to put away FG and RM products.
  • Maintain general housekeeping duties for a neat, safe, and clean work area.
  • Maintain environmental, health, and safety documentation related to EPA compliance, OSHA requirements, and ChemTreat policies.
  • Follow appropriate EHS procedures, including handling hazardous waste and filing incident reports.
