About The Position

As a Plant Administrator, you will be responsible for all day-to-day internal and external customer interactions, greeting visitors, coordinating shipping/receiving, and to provide full time administrative and customer support for a plant with 20-35 Team Members. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and be the liaison between the plant, customers, vendors and our corporate team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Accounting Software experience
  • Minimum 2 years ERP software experience, Dynamics/Great Plains experience a plus
  • Minimum 1 year experience with electronic time keeping/clock systems
  • Minimum 2 years payroll systems experience, ADP experience a plus
  • Excellent computer/software skills (excel, word, PDF, etc)
  • Must be organized, a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to multitask and accommodate multiple requests effectively
  • Must maintain professional demeanor as this position is the first point of contact
  • Must communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheet software.

  • Bachelor’s degree, equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll
  • Maintain hourly attendance records
  • Answer phones - Customer Service is essential
  • Record Accounts Payable/Receivables transactions
  • Reconcile daily Inbound/Outbound Shipments
  • Process employee documentation: new hire information, termination forms, and attendance forms, and maintain personnel files
  • Support all aspects of service to the customer
  • Open new accounts
  • Receive and process Purchase/Sales Orders
  • Resolve any product or service problems
  • Communicate and coordinate with manufacturing plants, sales, and accounting departments
  • Ensure that all documentation is current and correct
  • Prepare product and service reports
  • Route and dispatch drivers
  • All other duties assigned by management
