Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED required, Associates degree in human Resources preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience to ensure understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures in a manufacturing , logistics or warehouse setting strongly preferred.
  • Multilingual skills are a strong asset, with proficiency in French, Creole, and/or Spanish to effectively communicate within a diverse workforce.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel, or similar software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in human Resources preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support, such as preparing reports, maintaining files, handling communication, and assisting with HR projects.
  • Ensure that the location complies with labor laws and regulations and assist with audits and reporting related to the HR functions.
  • Help employees with their questions and issues related to workplace policies, employee concerns, and conflict resolution.
  • Assist with payroll submission.
  • Assist with the hiring process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, submitting new employee background checks, and ensuring the smooth onboarding of new employees. Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files
