About The Position

The Plant 1 Lead Prep Team Lead is directly responsible for the complete operation of a designated production area. The role oversees daily production-line scheduling based on the published production backlog, helps select and assign department personnel, supports personnel decisions and performance reviews, maintains product quality, trains assigned employees, and ensures the work area meets company safety requirements. The position includes supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related experience in a production field.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• The position contains supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily scheduling of production lines using the published production backlog.
• Assist with hiring decisions and the selection of department personnel for assignment of duties, promotion, transfer, and discharge, including evaluations and performance reviews.
• Maintain product quality using workmanship standards, assembly instructions, test procedures, and other applicable documentation.
• Conduct training for assigned personnel.
• Maintain the safety of the work area according to company safety requirements.
