This position is within the Community Development Division of the Development Services Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in organization, customer service, and detail-oriented work managing case files, preparing agendas, attending to hearings, and recording final determinations for land use hearings. Basic experience in public contact involving zoning, planning, engineering, real estate, or legal matters highly desirable. The ideal candidate should be able to work with different computer platforms, such as Accela, Granicus, and OnBase. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is a must. This position will require the individual to correspond/interact with colleagues from various departments, County staff from other departments, managers/supervisors, citizens, and land use professionals. Having a helpful and positive manner is a necessity.
