About The Position
The Morton County Planning & Zoning Board is seeking members to make recommendations to the County Commission regarding development and land uses in the county. This role involves reviewing master plans, preliminary and final plats, zone change requests, and zoning violations. Members will also address other items as instructed by the County Commission. A four-year unexpired term is available, ending June 30, 2028. Meetings are typically held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Morton County Courthouse.
Requirements
- Ability to attend monthly meetings on the fourth Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
- Willingness to serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2028.
- Completion of an application found on the website www.co.morton.nd.us/employment.
Responsibilities
