About The Position

The Planning Specialist works within BYD’s planning and commerce department, which supports the company’s supply chain through demand forecasting, coordination with production factories and European markets, and distribution planning. The department helps ensure a smooth process from manufacturing through delivery and supports BYD’s global business development.

The role coordinates forecast data, vehicle status and delivery follow-up, and market delivery information. It also prepares pro forma invoices (PIs), develops delivery plans based on vehicle demand and expected payment dates, evaluates production needs, and contributes to integrated distribution planning. The position is based in Poland and is full-time.

Requirements

• Fluent English and Polish.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance/Accounting, International Trade, or a related field.
• Advanced PC user skills, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• At least one year of experience.
• Relevant legal knowledge.
• Independent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Structured, goal-oriented attitude.
• Analytical and curious mindset.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Team-player skills.

Nice To Haves

• Chinese language skills.
• Experience in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities

• Collect monthly 3+3 forecast data and analyze issues.
• Follow up on vehicle status after vehicles arrive at the port.
• Track deliveries in each market, including vehicle registration data.
• Generate PIs based on applications from markets.
• Provide delivery plans based on vehicle demand in purchase orders (POs) and expected payback dates.
• Evaluate production needs and provide production instructions to headquarters when necessary.
• Develop an integrated distribution plan.
