About The Position

This role uses forward-thinking and strong product knowledge to create customized strategic approaches that achieve each client's KPIs and goals. This Specialist is responsible for efficiently developing, managing, and executing orders within Locality's planning management systems and product offerings. Locality Planners work closely across different teams, from Account Management to Operations, and offer insight and support throughout the life of the campaign.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field is preferred
  • Internship or 0–2 years of experience in media, marketing, analytics, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of media math, terminology and digital media concepts
  • Proficient data entry and order management skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on process and execution
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Passion for problem-solving and defining new approaches in ambiguous or evolving environments
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a sense of ownership and a desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy, urgency, and quality

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the development and execution of media plans across streaming TV, digital video, display, audio, and mobile channels
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise of Locality’s products and pricing, and ensure plans are built accordingly to nurture the health of Locality’s business
  • Assist in gathering inventory forecasts and inputting campaign data into planning management systems
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Client Success Managers to build strategic, data-driven proposals
  • Provide and ensure accuracy and timeliness in plan delivery, campaign setup, and all required campaign updates
  • Help document and improve planning processes, workflows, and best practices to drive efficiency and scalability
  • Leverage data to identify insights and help tell a clear, compelling story around campaign strategy and performance
  • Evaluate client goals and KPIs to help inform campaign strategy and channel mix
  • Maintain working knowledge and proficiency in all Locality systems and tools, across planning platforms, DSPs, and CRM systems
