• Four (4) year degree or 5 years related experience

Responsibilities

• Continuously follow and act on the different alarms from GILM (daily)
• Investigate availability of spare parts, part substitution with engineering and support from other plants, to avoid line impact for the concerned part number(s). The material planner will support other plants on request in shortage situations (ad hoc)
• Notify the scheduling department of potential material shortages that would affect the production schedule (ad hoc)
• Inform/escalate deviations and risk for disturbances to responsible Supervisor (ad hoc)
• Escalate crisis or risk suppliers according to the escalation ladder (GCR Global Risk Crisis) (ad hoc)
• Act towards supplier based on information from Material Handling Production/IMC and offsite sequencing facilities in case of inventory inaccuracies (daily)
• Act towards supplier based on input from the Supplier quality Plant Engineer to replenish bad material (daily)
• Communicate with DCN Coordinator on delivery of phase-in/phase-out parts (meeting usually set up by buyer or SRM) (monthly)
• Authority to decide on XTR (Extra transportation request) to a certain dollar figure, securing correct XTR information (daily)
• Inform packaging engineering in case of deviations between MOQ and agreed packaging quantity and update necessary systems i.e GILM) (ad hoc)
• Communicate with PL Transport Operations to check ETA’s, to notify about carrier issues (daily)
• Work on a daily basis with the supplier through Teams calls to secure correct SDP and to request the supplier for root cause analysis and actions when the target score of SDP is not met (weekly)
• Work in a pro-active mode with the suppliers by asking questions related to the logistic requirements & delivery manual. Issues can be further escalated internally when needed (daily)
• Responsible for working with AP to resolve supplier payment issues (weekly)
• Perform RCA on request in case of production disturbance, impacting the MA@PU (weekly)
• Answer questions from the supplier(s) on EDI/forecast with support from supervisor and/or IT (weekly)
• Secure correct parameters in GILM (transport time) and notify the supervisor for updates if applicable (monthly)
• Participate in continuous improvement activities. (monthly)
• Provide correct information in the Emergency routine tool on request of SRM (ad hoc)
• Update legacy where needed to include dating weekly orders, entering order lines, adding PO’s, (daily)
