About The Position

Vicor is an American manufacturer of advanced 48V-centric DC-DC converters. The Planner works with complex plans and schedules involving new or variable material and capacity needs, supporting customer requirements within the current build plan. The role monitors assemblies through the production cycle and coordinates material movement with purchasing, production, and engineering. It also involves routing, dispatching, expediting, status and exception reporting, developing specifications to production, and participating in physical inventory reconciliation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Three years of planning experience in a related industry.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Strong systems experience, specifically with MS Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Use the Company's MRP system to work on complex plans and schedules with new or variable material and capacity needs.
• Support customer requirements within the current build plan.
• Monitor the movement of assemblies through the production cycle.
• Coordinate the efficient movement of material with purchasing, production, and engineering.
• Perform routing, dispatching, and expediting duties necessary to meet production schedules.
• Interact effectively with production, sales, and engineering through status and/or exception reporting.
• Develop specifications to production.
• Participate in the physical inventory reconciliation process.
