About The Position

This role is responsible for controlling ordering processes and bookings to ensure manufacturing of products as agreed upon in the order freeze. The position involves checking the accuracy of production order bookings and their alignment with current deliveries, overseeing order costs in relation to quality, and monitoring inventory levels in coordination with the supply chain to guarantee material availability. Additionally, the role requires generating and analyzing production performance reports to identify areas for improvement and refining machine sequencing on a shift basis.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, or a high school diploma with proven relevant experience
• Experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment, utilizing scheduling reports to ensure on-time shipments
• Solid understanding of manufacturing routings, bills of materials (BOM), and QS/TS 9000 requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in computer applications, including mainframe systems, PC-based software, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
• Basic knowledge of plant operations; capable of understanding and adapting manufacturing procedures and timelines
• Able to lift moderately heavy items as required
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Responsibilities

• Check whether production orders are correctly booked and if order is in accordance with current delivery.
• Overview the costs of an order in terms of quality.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to ensure materials availability.
• Generate and analyze production performance reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Refine sequencing on machines on shift basis.
