The Equipment Planner role, reporting to the Supervisor, Equipment Services Operations, involves reviewing work orders, scheduling and dispatching calls for Cooler Movers, Fountain Installers, and Field Technicians. The planner is also responsible for maintaining an accurate customer database, monitoring volume, and executing plans to meet customer expectations for local customers. This role requires excellent communication skills for collaboration with department Managers, Field Service Supervisors, Account Coordinators, Sales, and Customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication skills by email, phone, in person
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams etc.
  • Ability to problem-solve and multi-task
  • Strong time management skills
  • Can work independently and in a team setting

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of Canadian geography
  • Operations/logistics experience
  • SAP and Salesforce experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the dispatching of planned equipment service calls
  • Monitor the Dispatch Grid to ensure productivity and efficiency
  • Maximize delivery efficiencies and driver safety through proper load distribution
  • Select outlets for service based on standard scheduling guidelines and include local considerations (Collective Bargaining Agreement) in Technician workday
  • Accurately process and schedule Customer Service Tickets within designated milestones
  • Receive inbound emails and calls from the Technician or Field Service Supervisor
  • Handle customer escalations, providing resolutions to the customer
  • Handle inbound customer calls for movement requests
  • Perform customer readiness for equipment installations
  • Review equipment move orders to ensure accurate information and all required documents have been submitted (EPA)
  • Act as a contact between internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Ops., MRC, FSV, and Field Service) for escalations and investigation
  • Report on equipment and service activities and other functional areas
  • Oversee equipment service projects and initiatives
  • Create Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP
