About The Position

Performs tasks and duties associated with product manufacture planning, including production schedules, material lists & inventory availability, and production plans as well as other task needed. PIM Brands is a rapidly growing team that makes brands like Welch’s® Fruit Snacks, Sun-Maid® Chocolate Raisins, and Sour Jacks® Sour Candies. Requirements

• High school diploma with extensive experience, or a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
• 2+ years of progressive experience in production planning, inventory control, and materials management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP/MRP (SAP) systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence across departments.

Responsibilities

• Helps to analyze production specifications to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and personnel requirements.
• Maintain the sense of urgency required to support a 24/7 plant
• Estimate and coordinate the raw materials, equipment, and labor shifts needed for continuous workflow.
• Recommend schedule changes resulting from material or labor shortages, design changes, or backlogs when necessary.
• Collaborate with Operations in analyzing, validating, and auditing material movements
• Monitor all aspects of material movement and consumption in PIM Brands Systems.
• Maintain inventory levels of materials, necessary to meet daily production demands
• Track stock levels, prevent shortages, and manage work-in-progress (WIP) to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
• Assure the highest level of accuracy for material handling within the plant
• Follow and help enforce PIM Brands GMP, food safety, personal and general safety rules
• Work with Operations and Supply/Demand teams to increase production efficiency while maintaining excellent Customer Service
• Support management with the delivery of KPI targets: OEE, Schedule Adherence, Shift Adherence & Production Attainment
• Become a SME in the use of SAP tools & Reports
