About The Position

This role is for a Planned Maintenance Technician based in Reno, Nevada, supporting natural gas solutions at the South Valley data center customer site. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team in shops and at customer sites to service, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko products. The company provides power, heating, cooling, and oil-free air solutions for various needs, from short-term events to long-term operations.

Requirements

Technical aptitude
Mechanically inclined: familiar with basic hand tool operation and have automotive lube and oil change experience.
Ability to do both physical work as well as think through and resolve technical problems; willing to get hands dirty, sweat, and interact with internal and external customers to deliver solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Must have High School Diploma/GED

Nice To Haves

Knowledge in gas and/or diesel-powered generators and air compressors preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform service, maintenance checks, and cleaning of equipment, including oil & filter changes, fluid checks and top-off on power generators, diesel generators and/or compressors in the shop or at customer sites.
Work in the field with extensive local travel daily in a company vehicle.
Perform preventive and planned maintenance as directed by the supervisor on work logs, maintenance records, and repair logs following all safety guidelines.
Complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately (e.g., expense reports, work logs, maintenance records, and repair logs).
Complete customer site visit checks and maintain appropriate badging for site access.
Convey confidence in customer communications.
