As our Placement Client Coordinator on the Agribusiness team, you will assist the Placement team with data research and analysis, providing coverage/exposure analysis and offering recommendations, providing underwriting support and review including submissions, bind requests (subjectivities, and exposure verification), premium & loss documents in Excel, processing of notices of cancellation, non-renewals, and reinstatements, and issuing endorsements in rate/quote/issue system. You will also provide administrative support as directed by the Ag Placement AVP.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of general business software such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Natural affinity towards learning and using a wide array of software products
  • Willingness to seek solutions to complex projects and issues, especially those that are software related
  • Customer service mindset, with the natural disposition to be helpful and aid others in the workplace wherever possible
  • Good communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers using tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to grow knowledge within this position and advance into roles increasingly integral to the department
  • Reading, writing, mathematical skills that would normally be acquired through the acquisition of a high school diploma
  • 4 years of relevant administrative/clerical experience, with heavy utilization of Excel preferred

Nice To Haves

  • PDF Xchange/Adobe and Access database knowledge preferred
  • Some college coursework is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist Placement team with data research and analysis
  • Provide coverage/exposure analysis and offering recommendations

  • Process Premium & Loss documents in Excel
  • Process notices of cancellation, non-renewals, and reinstatements
  • Issue endorsements in rate/quote/issue system
  • Provide administrative support as directed by Ag Placement AVP
