About The Position

NTT DATA is seeking a PL/SQL Developer to join their team in Plano, Texas. The role involves expertise in Oracle SQL and PLSQL, data analysis, data modeling, designing and implementing data APIs, and performance tuning. The developer will also be responsible for writing and maintaining batch jobs using technologies like ETL/Informatica and Autosys, understanding scalable application design principles, and following ATDD (acceptance test driven development) with automated testing for database code. Experience with cloud technologies like Snowflake and S3 is a bonus. The ideal candidate will be interested in writing clean, testable, readable, maintainable, and performant code, with knowledge of mid-tier technologies like Java and messaging systems. The role operates in an Agile software delivery environment with exposure to CI/CD tools. The developer will translate requirements into applications, provide leadership and mentorship, and collaborate with multi-subject area team members and customers. The position also involves designing and implementing software solutions, leading application design efforts, participating in design and code reviews, contributing to product quality plans, enhancing engineering practices in ATDD and CI/CD, and engaging with a global team of developers.

Requirements

5+ years experience writing Oracle SQL and PLSQL code, performing data analysis, data modelling, designing and implementation of data APIs and performance tuning.
3+ years experience writing and maintaining batch jobs with technologies like ETL/Informatica and Autosys.
5+ years experience in fundamental design principles for building a scalable application.
5+ years experience following ATDD (acceptance test driven development) and writing automated tests for database code.
5+ years experience working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
