About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Backend Developer / PL/SQL Developer for a 12-month contract with potential for extension. This role requires onsite presence in Jersey City, NJ (preferred), Tampa, FL, or Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and related technologies, with experience in batch scheduling and Java development.

This is a Kforce position, and we are looking for genuine candidates only. Third-party candidates will not be considered.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, relational design, recoverability, ETL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Demonstrable experience with Oracle using complex queries, packages, and other advanced development features.
• Strong practical working experience with Unix Shell scripting.
• Experience building integrations with Java based applications.
• Experience with sophisticated Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline including software configuration management, test automation, version control, static code analysis.
• Must have AutoSys for batch scheduling.
• Java as a secondary development skill.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle databases, including complex queries, packages, and other advanced features.
• Implement and manage batch scheduling using AutoSys.
• Develop integrations with Java-based applications.
• Build proof-of-concepts on newer reporting platforms.
• Utilize Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for software development.
• Perform software configuration management, test automation, and version control.
• Conduct static code analysis.
