About The Position

The Cryptography and Identification Initiative Development Team is responsible for designing, rolling out and upgrading modern, high-performance cryptographic solutions. We’re looking for a PKI Administrator who will play a key role in implementing a new Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and upgrading certificate and key life cycle management tools. You’ll help build a robust foundation and make sure PKI platforms operations are secure and reliable in a hybrid environment that combines traditional infrastructure and cloud services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Experience with cryptographic services for cloud computing environments (Azure Key Vault, AWS KMS, GCP KMS)
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Practical experience in implementing and administering PKI infrastructure
  • Proficiency in cryptographic and PKI standards (X.509, OCSP, CRL, RSA/ECC algorithms, certification policies)
  • Knowledge of certificate management tools (AppViewX, HashiCorp Vault, Microsoft ADCS, IDnomic, Venafi, etc.)
  • Proficiency in information security principles, Windows/Linux administration and technical architecture concepts

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the design, installation and activation of a new PKI infrastructure.
  • Administer and upgrade PKI components, including certificate authorities, OCSP servers, CRLs, certificate models, policies and practices.
  • Implement, maintain and improve certificate life cycle management tools and processes, including issuing, renewing, revoking, inventory and monitoring.
  • Integrate PKI into internal systems and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Apply best practices, cryptographic standards and compliance requirements.
  • Help automate PKI processes and continually improve related tools.
  • Draft, maintain and improve technical documentation (operating procedures and guides).
  • Work with the security, network, cloud computing, infrastructure and project teams to ensure consistent and secure integration.
