About The Position

AMNJ Ent Inc is a locally owned, family-operated Domino’s Pizza franchise that describes itself as people-focused and community-supportive. Pizza Makers prepare food to Domino’s Pizza specifications, assist customers with orders, stock ingredients and supplies, and maintain a clean and sanitary work area. The role includes taking orders in person and by phone, and bringing customers’ food to their cars in all weather conditions. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances.
Ability to lift delivery cases weighing up to 50 pounds and place them on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to carry items including pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds and trays of dough weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
Ability to push or pull tray dollies, climb stairs or a ladder infrequently, and bend, crouch, squat, and reach repeatedly.
Ability to use hands continuously, including forceful forearm and wrist use when shaping dough and frequent pinching when assembling pizza boxes.
Ability to work around varying weather and temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near and mid-range vision and depth perception, and differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, and sides according to Domino’s Pizza specifications.
Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Rotate stock using FIFO, move soda from storage to coolers, and date products.
Take and receive phone calls and process orders.
Take customer orders at the front counter or pickup windows.
Bring customer orders to their cars in all weather conditions.
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation, including sweeping and mopping, cleaning coolers, taking out trash, and washing dishes.
Unload deliveries using a hand truck and lift and stock cases of ingredients and supplies.
Use pizza-making tools and equipment, including a pizza peel and cutter.
