About The Position

A Pizza Maker produces Roman-style pizza alla pala in accordance with authentic Italian recipes and reports to the Bakery Manager. The role prepares pizzas to specific recipes, follows portion sizes and quality standards, and maintains a clean and sanitary food production area in accordance with Department of Health standards. The Pizza Maker works toward mastering all shifts in pizza production, assists Sales Associates when needed, and engages with guests who are interested in learning about pizza production. Other duties may be required or assigned.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a back-of-house production position.
Good work ethic, communication, and time management skills.
Availability to work onsite with a flexible, open schedule, often including evenings and weekends, preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
Ability to work with a wood-burning oven, electric pizza convection oven, and commercial spiral mixer.
