About The Position
The Pizza Maker produces Roman-style pizza alla pala according to Eataly’s authentic Italian recipes. This role reports to the Bakery Manager and works in pizza production while maintaining food quality, portion standards, and a clean, sanitary production area. The Pizza Maker works toward mastering all shifts in pizza production and may assist Sales Associates and engage with guests interested in learning about pizza production.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a back-of-house production position.
- Good work ethic, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
- Ability to work with a wood-burning oven, electric pizza convection oven, and commercial spiral mixer.

- Availability to work onsite with a flexible, open schedule, often including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas according to specific recipes.
- Comply with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary food production area according to Department of Health standards.
- Work toward mastering all shifts in pizza production.
- Assist Sales Associates if needed and engage with guests interested in learning about pizza production.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
