About The Position

The Pizza Maker works in a Domino’s store making menu items, assisting customers by phone and in person, and expediting orders from the cut table. Team members may work at all in-store stations and help prepare products, process orders, operate store equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, and clean the equipment and facility. Schedules may be part-time or full-time, with work during busy periods that can include daytime and nighttime hours. The role offers opportunities for advancement into management and other positions.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing and able to work all in-store stations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; use a calculator if needed; and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and operate store equipment.
• Ability to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication in person and by telephone.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to stand for most tasks and frequently walk short distances.
• Ability to lift and stock deliveries, with cases weighing up to 50 pounds and shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Ability to carry items, push or pull trays and products, and occasionally climb stairs or a ladder.
• Ability to bend, crouch, squat, and reach continuously as needed for stocking, cleaning, and food preparation.
• Eye-hand coordination and continuous hand use; ability to perform forceful dough shaping and handle pizza tools and boxes.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include temperature changes, cooler temperatures, hot surfaces and products, food-related dust and odors, confined spaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Work at all in-store stations, including making menu items, assisting customers by phone and in person, and expediting orders from the cut table.
• Enter, receive, and process customer orders by telephone and in person using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Prepare products and operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas into storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload deliveries and move, carry, and stock ingredients and supplies.
• Meet quality-control standards and work with others or independently during shifts.
