About The Position

The Pizza Maker works in-store across different stations, preparing menu items, assisting customers by phone and in person, and expediting orders from the cut table. The role also involves entering and processing orders, operating store equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position requires communication and basic arithmetic skills, the ability to follow quality standards, and the physical ability to perform standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, and other tasks throughout a shift. Work may involve hot and cold temperatures, ovens and sharp tools, food-related dust and odors, and confined spaces.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be willing and able to work all in-store stations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to operate all store equipment.
• Ability to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication by telephone and in person.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical demands described, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and carrying products as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work all in-store stations, including making menu items, assisting customers by phone and in person, and expediting orders from the cut table.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and receive and process telephone orders.
• Operate store equipment and use tools and work aids as required.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and unload and move product deliveries as needed.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Perform required physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling, climbing, bending, and reaching.
