About The Position

The Pizza Maker is an in-store position responsible for preparing Domino’s pizzas and supporting store operations. Duties include making high-quality pizzas, controlling food portions, following hygiene and food-safety practices, preparing food, taking customer orders and upselling, and carrying out general cleaning and organization. Pizza Makers may also assist with customer service duties, including helping customers and supporting front-line service. The role offers training and support, flexible hours, and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

Have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Be at least 16 years of age.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, using a calculator if needed.
Make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co-team members to process orders by phone and in person.
Be able to talk and hear on the telephone.
Have near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks and depth perception.
Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Be able to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Be able to stand for long periods; most tasks are performed standing.
