About The Position

The Pizza Maker works in a Domino’s store making menu items, assisting customers by phone and in person, and expediting orders from the cut table. Team members may work part-time or full-time, with schedules intended to accommodate other commitments. The role offers opportunities for advancement, including into management.

The position involves taking and processing orders, preparing products, operating store equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Work may involve exposure to varying weather and temperatures, food-related odors and dust, confined spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The job also requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and hand use, with occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, and crouching.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing and able to work all in-store stations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and operate store equipment.
• Ability to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication in person and by telephone; near- and mid-range vision and depth perception are necessary.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing and walking frequently; lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds; carrying items; pushing or pulling trays and trash cans; occasional climbing, bending, crouching, squatting, and continuous reaching and hand use.
• Eye-hand coordination and the ability to shape dough and handle pizza peels, cutters, boxes, and other work items.

Responsibilities

• Work all in-store stations, including making menu items, assisting customers by phone and in person, and expediting orders from the cut table.
• Take and process telephone orders and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Prepare products and operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Unload and stock product deliveries, including lifting and stacking cases on shelves.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Carry out tasks while meeting quality standards and working with others or independently.
