About The Position

BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is seeking a full-time Pizza Chef with strong people skills and a positive attitude. The Pizza Chef prepares pizza dough and toppings, makes sauces, and fulfills member orders, including special requests. The role requires experience with different pizza styles and availability for afternoon/evening shifts five days per week, including weekends and holidays.

The position is part of Troon Privé, Troon’s private club division. Troon Privé partners with private clubs to provide hospitality, personalized service, and member experiences, and supports associates’ career growth and development.

Requirements

• Work experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar restaurant role.
• Hands-on experience preparing and baking pizza dough.
• Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and brick or stone ovens.
• Understanding of food hygiene.
• Good time-management skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizzas from the menu and fulfill custom orders.
• Bake a variety of pizza doughs, including thin crust, thick crust, and cheese-stuffed.
• Make fresh tomato, pesto, and white cream sauces.
• Wash and chop vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, onions, and mushrooms.
• Cut, slice, and grill meats such as chicken, ham, and beef.
• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment.
