About The Position
BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida is seeking a full-time Pizza Chef with strong people skills and a positive attitude. The role involves preparing pizza dough, preparing toppings, and fulfilling members’ orders, including special requests. The chef prepares a variety of pizza styles and works afternoon/evening shifts five days a week, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Work experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar restaurant role.
- Hands-on experience preparing and baking pizza dough.
- Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and brick or stone ovens.
- Understanding of food hygiene.
- Good time-management skills.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas from the menu and fulfill custom orders.
- Prepare and bake a variety of doughs, including thin crust, thick crust, and cheese-stuffed.
- Make fresh tomato, pesto, and white cream sauces.
- Wash and chop vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, onions, and mushrooms.
- Cut, slice, and grill meats such as chicken, ham, and beef.
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
- Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment.
