Pizza Chef and Banquet Prep
About The Position
Esplanade Lakewood Ranch is proud to feature a dynamic and growing pizza program, built around our proprietary dough and house-made sauces, and we are seeking a passionate Pizza Chef to join our team. This role will primarily focus on pizza production on the line, while also supporting banquet and event prep a few hours each week to maintain a full-time schedule. The position reports directly to our Executive Chef and offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, high-performing culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and adherence to all food safety standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates effectively with team members, and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential to success in this role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
