About The Position

Avant Arte aims to make art radically accessible to a new generation. Starting as a blog for contemporary artists, it has evolved into a large online art community with over 2 million followers under 35. Avant Arte collaborates with renowned artists to create accessible editions and unique works for younger collectors, envisioning a future where young people engage with art as they do with music and fashion. The company is seeking a London-based pitch writer to create compelling slide decks for new collaborations. This role involves transforming pitch briefs into tailored presentations that reflect Avant Arte's brand voice and storytelling approach. The ideal candidate will be a skilled writer and slide designer, capable of managing multiple proposals in a fast-paced environment, working closely with Artist and Creative Production teams, and meeting deadlines. Self-motivation, independent work ethic, strong communication, effective prioritization under pressure, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Requirements

Experienced proposals writer with the ability to manage multiple pitches concurrently to a high standard.
Experience in proposals or copywriting, preferably in the art industry or adjacent sectors like advertising, marketing, or agencies.
Proficiency in Google Slides for creating and designing persuasive proposals.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptionally high standards.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Proactive and adaptable with the ability to learn quickly and meet on-the-spot requirements.
Accountability and ownership, with the ability to anticipate issues, address them with the team, and take ownership of resolutions.
Highly organized with the ability to manage concurrent briefs and deliverables.
Approximately 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Receive pitch briefs and distill them into bespoke and exciting proposals.
Condense the strategic imperative of each pitch into a clear and compelling proposition.
Own the copywriting and slide design, utilizing templates as appropriate to deliver fully developed, well-designed proposals.
Determine and adhere to the appropriate tone of voice for the target audience and Avant Arte's style.
Proofread, edit, and implement feedback from internal and external stakeholders for final delivery and subsequent iterations.
Build and maintain templates, content, case studies, and other assets for proposal creation.
Collate archives of content, images, and assets into proposal libraries.
Act as the final quality control for outgoing proposals, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Engage with artist managers, creative teams, and individual contributors to shape pitch narratives and align messaging.
Manage multiple concurrent proposals under tight and often overlapping deadlines, prioritizing by commercial value and urgency.
